The Garmin Nuvi 1390T is an ultra-thin protable GPS that fits at the top of Garmins 1300 series. The 1200 and widescreen 1300 series are 25% slimmer than other Nuvis making this an extremely transportable device. It has a 4.3" diagonal widescreen QVGA color antiglare TFT screen with white backlight and a 480 x 272 pixel resolution. The Nuvi 1390T greets you with two simple options; "Where to?" or "View map" and will speak turn-by-turn directions once you decide where you want to go. The lane assist feature helps you choose the proper lane when approaching unfamiliar exits and the ecoRoute feature calculates the most fuel-efficient route. It is pre-loaded with City Navigator NT street maps with nearly 6 million POIs, and the "Where am I?" feature will quickly help you find where you are and the closest hospitals, police stations and fuel stations. The 1390T features Bluetooth wireless connectivity, junction ... PROS: (1) better battery life than previous generation models (2) lighter and thinner than previous generation models (3) lane assist is a very useful feature (4) traffic reception built in (5) built in bluetooth support ... CONS: (1) power port is located on the back of the unit which can be annoying for cable management (2) doesnt always find the best routes, particularly when highways are nearby (3) no multipoint destinations - only one via point (4) traffic ads are quite annoying
