Sometimes people want to go a little more upscale and arent satisfied with the current crop of mainstream keyboards. For those people Logitech has created the diNovo Edge which aims to go high brow and high class. The distinctive and high quality looks are immediately obvious with a glossy black finish, and 11mm thin profile. The black finish is further accentuated by the backlit keys and icons that light up when particular features are accessed. Press the Function key, and the alternative buttons light up. Press the integrated scroll area or touch disc and they will light up as well. Bluetooth wireless is used to connect the keyboard to your computer, or other Bluetooth compatible device. The keyboard features an integrated Lithium Ion battery that is recharged by the included base station. Logitech touts precision manufacturing coupled with an innovative design that distributes finger force evenly across the keys, giving them ... THE GOOD: First rechargeable wireless keyboard; visually pleasing design; satisfying heft and surface grip; crisp key response. THE BAD: Expensive; touch-sensitive pad and volume control are not very responsive. THE BOTTOM LINE: Thanks to its sharp design, its easy to imagine this keyboard in the living room or in any high-visibility area. We only wish its touch-sensitive features were more responsive, which especially stings considering the price. If youre willing to accept a $200 keyboard with a few minor flaws, we recommend it.
