Step into the 3D world. The VIERA ST series Full HD 3D Plasma panel creates an advanced viewing experience by putting you inside the action and creating a world of TV viewing realism. Panasonic uses Full HD Frame Sequential technology to create its 3D images. Images recorded for both the right-eye and the left-eye alternately flash on the screen at the ultra-high rate. VIERA plasma TV has 1080 lines of moving-picture resolution. Specially developed phosphors with minimal afterimages and the motion compensating technology have made it possible to render faster-moving images with greater sharpness. By combining the highly light-transmissive IPS Alpha Panel and high-brightness backlight, this TV delivers both high contrast and low power consumption.

The Panasonic VIERA TC-P65GT30 is an upper mid-cost 3D plasma TV. This TV is WiFi ready, with LAN provided through one of the three USB ports. The VIERA TC-P65GT30 has a 600Hz subfield drive that cuts down on streak and blur with fast action scenes. This TV is equipped with Panasonic’s IPTV functionality, which is expanded for 2011 under the name VIERA Connect. This platform offers the same content sites (like Netflix, Amazon VOD, and YouTube), the previous VIERA Cast platform offered, but adds apps like Hulu Plus, Napster, CinemaNow and Facebook, as well as sports sites. The display of this TV is sixty-five inches of full HD (1080p) plasma, and is 3D capable. The VIERA TC-P65GT30 is equipped with VIERA Link, a feature that allows you to connect all your VIERA Link enabled devices and control them from the same place. This model differs from the lower cost VIERA TC-P60GT30 ... PROS: (1) Colours appear bright and vibrant without being over saturated. (2) Black performance is stellar with true blacks and shadow performance. (3) Extensive picture settings control. (4) 600Hz subfield drive makes motion look smooth and realistic without the"soap opera effec" seen with 120Hz LCD sets. (5) Picture quality doesnt really take a noticeable hit in 3D mode. ... CONS: (1) VIERA Connect software is often laggy and unresponsive.
