The Sony RM-EZ4 is a basic TV and Cable programmable universal remote control. The RM-EZ4 can consolidate both TV and Cable or Satellite remotes into a single controller. The Sony RM-EZ4 features a 3-minute memory back-up feature, and large buttons, designed for simple operation. The Sony RM-EZ3 also has Mute and Recall buttons in addition to a large keypad, and requires two AA batteries. Available September 2004, the Sony RM-EZ4 retails for $10. Features Combines TV and Cable/Satellite remotes 3-minute Memory Back Up feature Large buttons Requires 2x AA Batteries ... PROS: (1) buttons are large and easy to see (2) channel and sound buttons are large enough to be found without looking at the remote (3) nice texture on the buttons, feel comfortable and grip well (4) size and layout make it comfortable to work with - everything is within reach of your thumb (5) simple design ideal for people uncomfortable with technology ... CONS: (1) doesnt light up, a little tricky to see in complete darkness (2) cant be programmed to work with all devices, some things arent covered
