With Epsons MicroPiezo AMD print head, the Pro 38800 is able to product gallery quality color and black and white prints in sizes up to 17 x 22. It uses an industry acclaimed ink set to deliver a high color gamut. It can print on a wide range of medium including semi-matte paper, fiber paper, fin art media or art boards of up to 1.5mm thick. There are preset and customizable color settings that can be saved and recalled in order to achieve consistent prints every time. Not only does the Pro 3880 produce high quality prints, it also has a dedicated support team especially for buyers of Epsons professional products. Features / Specifications Epson UltraChrome K3 with Vivid Magenta pigment inkset Advanced magenta ... PROS: (1) handles very large paper sizes, great for professional prints that are to be framed (2) easy to setup despite the size, not very complex (3) doesnt use too much ink per print, nice low cost-per-page (4) prints on the proper paper have great color and are very precise (5) tiny details in pictures show up very well in the prints ... CONS: (1) firmware update only works through the USB port, wont work over network (2) takes up a lot of room, need to plan ahead for the big footprint
