Samsung promotes this phone as having a complete multimedia package, and features such a 2 megapixel camera/camcorder, Mobile Web/Video, and MobiTV help to justify that statement. The display of this phone is three inches of touchscreen. The touchscreen is equipped with TouchWiz 2.0, which helps to make navigating easy. With the Solstice II (SGH-A817), you are able to customize your home screen, adding the widget shortcuts and applications you want. The AT&T Social Net feature of the Solstice II (SGH-A817) coordinates and simplifies the way you keep up to date with your social networking sites (such as Facebook, MySpace and Twitter). This phone gives you the ability to send messages, photos, and videos with the touch of a button. With threaded text, you can easily follow who said what through the course of a conversation. The Samsung ... PROS: (1) Large touch screen is very responsive, performs better than previous Samsung touchscreens (2) Battery life outlasts other Samsung and competitor models, up to three days of moderate or heavier use (3) More affordable internet/data phone option than many competitors with touchscreen design (4) Consistently good, non-grainy photo quality from camera, better than other Samsung phones with 2-megapixel resolution (5) Wide variety of apps available for purchase despite not being Android or iOS ...
