The Sony SS-F5000 consists of a pair of standalone, performance bookshelf speakers designed to work alongside a surround-sound system. Each speaker hosts a large 8” Kevlar woofer, a 3-1/4” mid-driver, and a 1” Nano-Fine balanced dome tweeter. Most notable about these speakers is that each boasts a Bass Reflex port, allowing them to deliver an extremely wide frequency range, along with a powerful 150W power output. Due to their design, they are relatively heavy at almost 25 lbs a piece, but easily compensate with their precision sound reproduction.
