The ReadyNAS NV+ RND4000 is a network-attached storage device from Netgear. Although the RND4000 is diskless, models with up to four terabytes of storage capacity are available, in the form of four hot-swappable disks. The ReadyNAS NV+ connects via ethernet to a home network, and with a hard drive, provides storage space available to all computer on that network. Systems are pre-configured in X-RAID mode and support RAID 0, 1, and 5. The device supports Macs, and integrates with DLNA-certified products like the Playstation 3 for media streaming. Advanced backup and print serving capabilities are among other key features.
