The RFG237AARS is a french-door style refrigerator from Samsung. The fridge is designed with a standard 36" so it stays in line with the counter depth but has thinner walls, giving it a larger capacity of 23 cu.ft. than most similarly sized units. It features Samsungs Twin Cooling system with dual evaporators and fans which cool the fridge and freezer separately and prevent moisture loss. The RFG237AARS includes MultiFlow technology for even cooling throughout the refrigerator and has a Power Freeze/Cool feature to maintain the temperature when the door is repeatedly opened. It is designed with internal LED tower lighting to brightly illuminate all areas of the fridge and offers an external LED display with a built-in water and ice dispenser on the front door. The fridge comes in a stainless steel finish and is Energy Star qualified for higher efficiency. Features/Specs French Door Design Twin Cooling System LED Tower Lighting ... PROS: (1) Actually not a ridiculous price for counter-depth, 3" wide stainless fridge (2) Large capacity (3) Alarm sounds when fridge door is left open (4) Gorgeous with LED lights and blue LCD control panel. (5) Built-in water and ice dispenser ... CONS: (1) Proprietary water filters are expensive to replace (bypass it, and install your own water filtration) (2) Much more expensive then the 3", counter-depth stainless model (3) Ice cubes fly all over the place with ice maker .. better to use a bucket than a glass (4) Even with flip-up shelves space is limited for tall items like juice and milk
