The Sony RDH-GTK1i is a mini shelf system capable of playing CDs and mp3s from an iPod or other systems via a USB port. Its most apparent feature is its design: portable with two handles mounted directly on the face of the system for very easy movement, and also the two speakers that light up and change color with the beat of the music that is currently being played. Despite being a portable system, the Sony RDH-GTK1i features 220 watts of power for high sound quality and volume in a mini shelf system. In addition to the aforementioned media sources, the system also serves as a docking station for MP3 players to charge while in use, and can also be connected to game consoles. The system also includes a remote for easy control without constantly returning to wherever the system is placed; the remote can also be used to control an ... PROS: (1) Capable of outputting a very encompassing sound field. (2) "Colour-enhanced" speakers is a unique feature that looks cool and can be turned off if necessary. (3) Great bass performance--booming and resonant. (4) Can handle very high volumes with no distortion or shaking. (5) Can handle a wide variety of devices from iPods to PCs to game consoles. ...
