It utilizes Logitech’s Darkfield Laser Tracking, which allows the mouse to work on smooth surfaces like clear glass or lacquered desks. Included also is Hyper-fast scrolling, which allows users to quickly scroll long documents spinning the wheel and then tapping it when complete. Signature to the MX is its USB transceiver, which is more commonly known as Logitech’s Unifying Receiver. Once plugged in, it can in fact support up to SIX total compatible wireless products. Users simply open the included software and click on Pair New Device. Additional features include an ergonomic design, integrated thumb buttons, and a carrying pouch.
