The Maytag MVWC400XW is a high-efficiency 4.3 cu. ft. equivalent washer released as an upgrade from the MVWC200XW. It adds along eco settings that can automatically determine the appropriate water level and temperature, thereby helping the consumer save up to 70% on water and energy bills. There are also more wash cycles (11), not to mention auto detergent dispensers, improved noise reduction, and a MaxExact Extended Spin that prolongs the last spin cycle in order to get rid of more moisture. This means the user doesn’t need to dry his/her clothes for as long in the dryer. Keep in mind that these are all optional services, in that a user can use the electronic controls to choose a different wash level, water temperature, or spin time.
