It upgrades from the former by incorporating double the flash memory (32GB), though it too offers plenty of expansion options such as SD/SDHC and Memory Stick Pro. The signature key to this digital camcorder is that it features a built-in projector, which means users who either don’t have an HDTV or who are constantly on the go can proudly display their photos and videos on any flat surface. Other than that, the Handycam HDR-PJ30V records 1080p video and stereo audio, outputs it at full HD with 5.1-channel Dolby Digital audio, and automatically configures photos and videos to match the current surroundings.
