description :
The Cyber-shot DSC-WX10 features a 16.2-megapixel "Exmor R" CMOS image sensor that brings out the full resolving power of the camera's Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens. It delivers extremely fast speed, high resolution and stunning low-light sensitivity with improved image clarity and drastically reduced grain. The WX10 is outfitted with powerful features like Full HD movie for high quality movies, low light performance for improved image clarity, 10fps to capture the precise moment, and backlight correction to capture the detail in high contrast shots.
Review : The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX10 is one of five 3D-compliant digital cameras released together in early 2011. It is the only unit in the series to support full 1080/60p high-resolution video capture. It also supports 3D still image capture and stereo audio capture. It also has a Carl Zeiss® Vario-Tessar Lens like the DSC-WX9. However, the lens on the DSC-WX10’s lens is 7x, bright F.2 24mm wide-angle. This makes it more compatible for high-speed auto-focus shots. Additional features include a 3” LCD display, support for 3D panorama shots, and a Dual Record functionality for capturing videos and stills at the same time. Note however that the Dual Record function doesn’t work while shooting in full HD. Additional Information All five models (DSC-TX10, DSC-TX100V, DSC-HX7V, DSC-WX10, DSC-WX9) use a single lens and imager to produce 3D still images. They do this by taking two consecutive pictures in different focus positions. These images are ... PROS: (1) 16.2MP Exmor R CMOS Sensor - the latest generation backlit sensor technology for improved low light performance over previous generation designs (2) 7x optical zoom lens with large f/2.4 maximum aperture for low light performance (25-168mm 35mm equivalent) (3) respectable price point (4) refined aesthetic and design (5) solid build - good heft, metal construction ... CONS: (1) video isnt recorded in 1080p (but rather 1080i - interlaced)
Review : The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX10 is a new mid-range compact camera with a wealth of advanced features. A fast f/2.4, 7x zoom lens, 16 megapixel Exmor R CMOS sensor, 10fps continuous shooting and Superior Auto and Background Defocus modes supposedly produce DSLR picture quality, while Sony have also included Full HD movie recording and even 3D photos. Priced at around £250 / $250, read our in-depth Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX10 review to find out if it lives up to its full promise.

Review : With a wicked-fast autofocus system driving its G-series lens, the Sony WX10 integrates quite a few of Sony's recent innovations, including iSweep Panorama, Handheld Twilight, and even a set of 3D modes. Its 16-megapixel sensor, 2.8-inch LCD, Full HD video capture, and 24-168mm lens mark the WX10 as a pocket camera with a little extra something. We were most impressed with the printed image quality, which allows low-ISO prints of up to 13x19 inches in size. Read our review of the Sony Cyber-shot WX10 digital camera!
