Crysis 2 is a first-person shooter video game being developed by Crytek, and slated for manufacture by Electronic Arts for Microsoft Windows, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360. On June 1st of 2009, it was announced that Electornic Arts Inc. (NASDAD: ERTS) had extended a deal with Crytek BmbH, which tbereby states that EA will manufacture the game once it is ready for release. At this point, there is no set release date, but players can expect it to drop sometime in 2010. It will be a sequel to the 2007 PC game Crysis, and its spinoff, Crysis Warhead. A step up from these games, Crysis 2 will utilize the very new CryEngine 3 development engine, designed to take the graphics and user experience to an entirely new level.
