The KitchenAid KFCS22EV is a 21.8 cu. ft. capacity counter-depth French door Energy Star Qualified® bottom-freezer refrigerator that utilizes a FreshChill Temperature Management System that ensures ingredients remain fresh for maximum taste and texture. Cited as one of KitchenAid’s top bottom-freezer models, the somewhat small 21.8 (versus 23+ per its peers) cubic ft. capacity KFCS22EV comes equipped with a plethora of powerful features such as a pull-out tri-level freezer drawer that features slide-out baskets with mats to help keep the freezer clean and organized, not to mention SatinGlide freezer baskets and crispers that slide out easily, even when fully stocked. In addition, the KFCS22EV sports ClearVue bins with windows that allow for easy viewing of its contents, and adjustable SpillClean glass shelves with raised edges that hold back spills. The KFCS22EV also sports FreshSeal humity-controlled crispers that help retain humidity, a FreshChill temperature-managed deli locker for storing deli meats and cheeses ... PROS: (1) Counter-depth design fits well in smaller kitchens without sacrificing much interior space. (2) Very low operational volume, even when the compressor is running. (3) Great organization with plenty of custom drawers (Deli, Veggie, etc). (4) Self-contained freezer bin contains messy items like popsicles. (5) Temperature controls are easy to read and intuitive--set actual internal temperature by degrees. ... CONS: (1) Exterior is very difficult to clean on the stainless steel model.
