The Toshiba 55TL515U is a 3D LED television with Internet connectivity and the capacity to render fast-moving subjects. The 55 inch display is the largest in the series, following the Toshiba 42TL515U and Toshiba 47TL515U. Apart from the size all features are the same, including the use of native 1080p high definition resolution and a ClearScan 240Hz mode that renders sports and fast-panning camera shots without blur. Both WiFi and an Ethernet port are built in to enable Internet connectivity, making it possible to connect to services such as Netflix, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. The picture can automatically be adjusted with AutoView, which takes into account the rooms ambient light levels and the incoming video signal for the best brightness settings.
